User Telemetry Trust

Data & Voice Privacy.

We treat your voice data with respect. Read our clear, jargon-free breakdown of microphone permissions, early testing telemetry, and how you retain total control over your voice prints.

Your voice is yours alone.

Calibrating pitch contours requires capture of microphone signals. We believe in providing absolute visibility into how these recording inputs are used.

1. Microphone Permission Bounds

The application uses the browser's `navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia` microphone API. We **only** access the microphone when you actively tap the 'Record' button to speak a practice phrase. There is no passive, hidden, or background listening enabled.

2. How Voice Telemetry is Handled

When a voice sample is recorded, the fundamental sound frequencies are parsed by our digital signal processing (DSP) logic to calculate the pitch contour shape. How we handle the resulting audio file depends on your choice:

  • Standard Local Processing: By default, your speech pitch is extracted locally or sent to our secure calibration processor, generating immediate visual overlays, and the raw recording is instantly discarded.
  • Early Tester Telemetry (Opt-in): During early pre-launch testing, you may optionally opt-in to help improve the calibration models. If and only if you provide active consent, voice samples are securely stored for telemetry analysis and baseline tuning.

3. Third-Party Audits & Storage Boundaries

No voice recordings are shared with third-party advertising companies, grammar platforms, or data brokers. All data is processed using modern encryption protocols, and waitlist signups are isolated within highly secure database partitions.

4. User Control & Data Deletion

You have the absolute right to delete any stored data. If you have participated in early testing and want your historical voice records or waitlist email purged, you can contact us at any time, and we will perform a hard delete across all storage volumes within 30 days.

We are building and validating Đúng Chưa? alongside early testers. Join the pre-launch waitlist to receive updates when testing spots open.

Voice recording is strictly used to evaluate spoken pitch shapes. Early waitlist iterations will store voice samples for telemetry, algorithm debugging, and reference baseline calibration only with clear consent.
